Carl Palmer (Managing Director)
Carl has over 20 years experience in the construction industry having started out as an apprentice joiner for Jude Construction, then moving further a field as a independent contractor and consultant. Over the last 10 years he has worked at director level and has the experience necessary to recognise and understand the different roles involved in the construction process.

Carl’s appetite to continue to learn and embrace new ideas remains as firm as ever, and is demonstrated in the manner in which the company is leading the way in becoming one of the finest builders in Cheshire.

Nicky Palmer (Office Manager/Company Secretary)
Nicky deals with the day to day administration tasks and finances. Having spent over 16 years in a sales environment,
Nicky is enjoying the challenges of the building sector and is quickly adapting her skills and experience to ensure the smooth running of the business. She is cheerful, proficient and highly competent and a valued member of the team.

Vinny Cosgrove (Contracts Manager)
Vinny has been Contracts Manager with Urban Building Projects Limited for the last 2 years and has over 30 years experience in the construction industry. Vinny started his career as a joiner, after progressing in his career he managed many projects up and down the country and was involved extensively as site manager for Gallifords on the Manchester Airport Second Runway Projects. He has also worked further a field for Multiplex in Australia. Vinny is versatile and dedicated to meeting clients' objectives.

Steve Nixon (Quantity Surveyor)
Steve has over 25 years experience in the building industry, starting with Monks (now Kavarner) working on projects such as the original Warrington Golden Square and Uttoxeter by-pass. He has extensive experience with local and national contractors and schemes from a few thousand to tens of millions. Steve also has international experience having worked in both the Middle East and in Cyprus. He has been the senior estimator for Urban Building Projects Ltd over the last 2 years. Steve does all the surveying and estimating for the business. He is also involved with onsite supervision, ordering materials, appointing sub-contractors and preparing and submitting final valuations. He is a valued and respected member of the team.

Urban has over 30 time served employees / approved contractors who are specialists in various aspects of the building trade. We have built excellent working relationships over many years of working together and are proud to have a well trained and versatile team. The team are a essential part of the business as they have enabled Urban to complete the finest building projects, making sure that clients receive quality, speed and cost-efficiency – at all times.
